Visite a rua rosa (Don't forget to visit Pink Street!)

Don't forget to check out the legendary Pink Street, Lisbon's most popular nightlife street. Officially called Rua Nova do Carvalho, this small pedestrian street is better known as “Pink Street” since 2013, when an urban renewal project painted the pavement between the terraces, bars and clubs in pink.

It has become Lisbon’s hottest destination at night, and is also often used as an open-air art gallery. Pink street is also very close to Flight Fest so is an easy destination for those that maybe have sore feet from dancing too hard!

Afim de dançar? (In the mood to dance?)

If you’re in the mood to dance and have that quintessential Euro clubbing experience, look no further than our carefully curated list below. Most nightclubs are located in Barrio Alto, so you can bar-hop as you please.

Lux Frágil:

Known for its eclectic music selection and vibrant atmosphere, Lux Frágil is one of the most famous clubs in Lisbon, if not in the whole of Portugal. Be warned, its popularity brings crowds and you’ll more than likely find yourself waiting in line, but it’s well worth the wait! PSA: Don’t come in your flip flops, you won’t get let in!

5A Club:

From electronic dance music one minute, to indie tunes the next, 5A Club has something for everyone. Until 4am, 5A keeps the drinks flowing (did someone say tequila shot machine?!) and the dancefloor pumping, so your post-party plans are well and truly covered here.

Lounge:

Lounge is a popular spot for a reason - it's free to enter and offers something for everyone. One night you might catch a live band, and the next you could be dancing to disco tunes until dawn. Just be warned, it gets packed on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so be prepared for crowds!

Rive-Rouge:

It might be the little brother of Lisbon's famous Lux club, but Rive-Rouge holds
its own. Unlike any other bar in Cais do Sodré, Rive-Rouge offers a unique experience. It's open late (10pm to 4am), perfect for drinks or dancing after dinner.

Incognito:

Packed with history, Incognito (with a dance floor downstairs!) was Lisbon's first alternative club. Indie music reigns supreme here, and legend has it Arcade Fire's lead singer even DJed once! It's open late (usually until 4am), but be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends - it can get tight!

K Urban Beach:

K Urban Beach is one of the most popular nightclubs in Lisbon – and for good reason! Located on the picturesque waterfront of the Tagus River, this chic nightspot has become a welcoming place to party with friends, both locals and tourists alike. Heads up it's an Uber ride from town.

Afim de relaxar? (In the mood to chill?)

Sometimes, there’s nothing better than rounding out the evening in a dimly lit bar with a nightcap in hand, of course. Here are some of the best spots to do just that:

Machimombo:

Dive into a world of vibrant magenta at Machimbombo, the hottest pink bar in Lisbon's buzzing Bairro Alto. Sip on creative cocktails, local wines, or craft beers while listening to live DJs spinning Amapiano, house, and R&B tunes. The party often spills out onto the street, making it a night to remember.

Foxtrot:

This speakeasy-style cellar bar has been serving Lisbon for more than 40 years and is considered an institution both in and outside the city. With a roaring fireplace in the winter and a terrace to the back, Foxtrot pays homage to the art deco era with eclectic decor. You’ll come for the vibes but stay for the cocktails at Foxtrot.

Red Frog:

Secret bar alert! Red Frog near Avenida Liberdade is all the rage for amazing cocktails. To find it, ring the doorbell, and they'll lead you downstairs to a cool, dimly lit room with comfy chairs to sink into, complete with jazzy music. Their bartenders are famous for their drinks, so pick something off the menu or ask them to make you something special using local ingredients.

Vago:

Dive into Lisbon's live music scene at Vago, a cool bar in Santos. Inspired by Japan's listening bars, Vago has top-notch sound and DJs spinning house, techno, and dance music every weekend. Grab a delicious cocktail, craft beer, or glass of wine and enjoy the vibes until 2am!

Vino Vero:

Vino Vero, a cozy wine bar with a sister spot in Venice, is tucked away on a charming cobblestone street in Lisbon's trendy Graça neighbourhood. Enjoy natural wines with cheese and small plates at this relaxed and lively spot.

Coquetéis com vista (Cocktails with a view!)

‍Ponto Final:

Definitely book in advance, as the queue can be long. The food is good, but really you’re there for the sunset views.

Pronto para ir para casa, mas não para dormir? (Ready to head home but not ready to go to sleep?)

Don't stress! We're keeping the bars open until 2am on Friday & Saturday night at most hotels, so that you can have one last drink (or two) before you head up to your room.
